| Welcome to Sherman United Methodist Preschool |
Thank you for visiting the Sherman United Methodist Preschool Website!
The Sherman United Methodist Preschool is a developmental program geared to the needs of three (3) to five (5) year olds. Our curriculum combines a center approach and unit approach to develop skill areas and subject areas. We offer 3 small group classes to facilitate individual learning with a maximum of 8 children per teacher. Our school is staffed by teachers with professional training who are dedicated to guiding each child with love as they work to master the skills needed for Kindergarten. All of our staff have Bachelor's Degree's and experience with working with children in many capacities. Our teachers provide ‘hands-on’ experiences and activities. We believe in active learners and encourage children to:
express themselves through language and movement
explore and develop a curiosity
develop good self-esteem
develop a love of learning
explore and use new materials

We will hold our annual Open House/Registration on March 22th, 2012 at 6:30pm. Parents are invited to tour the preschool and meet our staff at this time. We will give a brief overview of our program and answer any questions you may have before registering your child.
